Happy Birthday Morganne!

Yesterday, Morganne turned 2 years old!!!!  Boy how time flies.  We can't believe how fast she has changed and how big she is getting.  At two years old, she amazes us with her letter, number, and color recognition, the songs she sings, and the phrases she quotes.  She loves to jump and dance (moves which she definitely gets from Daddy! :cP), color, and read books.  We can't believe she is no longer our baby but our toddler and soon to be big sister.  We can't imagine life without her and are so blessed with the smiles and laughter that she brings every day.  Here are some pictures from the last year....

Ways we know we are loved....

Ask and you shall receive: our friends, co-workers, and family members have given us more "big items" for this baby than I think we had for Morganne.  It was a true need, and God provided by using our wonderful friends.
  • My co-workers had a pizza party for me today because I'm leaving and have stressed that they want to stay in contact and are going to miss me when I'm gone.
  • We've received a swing, dresser, bebe' pod, baby mattress, infant jungle matt, money, diapers, wipes, clothes, and gift cards from my co-workers and our closest friends.
  • I've had invites to dinner, gifts, and best wishes cards from my clients; when truly I have just been doing my job.
  • Clients stress that they "want an email and pictures to know about "Little G" and find out her name!?!?"  even though I won't be working with them anymore
  • Grandparents stop by, just to spend time with their granddaughter and offer free baby sitting on a regular basis, cook us dinner, and buy Morganne and I lunch every Wednesday
  • Grandparents buy us a webcam just to stay in touch with their kids and grandkids, since they can't be close everyday
  • Our daycare lady bought Morganne a wonderful birthday gift, not to mention Christmas gifts too
  • A special co-worker, friend not only bought me a gift to "pamper myself" but she also got Morganne a birthday and "big sister" gift, a baby gift, and money to help with "all the baby shopping".  It was too much, we are overwhelmed.
  • A client, turned friend of mine is traveling to St. Thomas this weekend and has been "thinking about just what to get our two girls while she is there" and will send it to us when she returns.
  • Close friends have appointed themselves "on call to take Morganne" for if we need to rush to the hospital in the middle of the night, and will take care of her so that my parent's can be at the hospital with us.
  • Neighbors and friends have all offered to take care of the house and the dogs when we go to the hospital.
  • Friends encourage Justin when he gives a great lesson at church.  Even though he was nervous, he did a great job and it was a message people needed to hear.  God works through everyone.
  • Friends traveling "home" need a place to crash and don't hesitate to ask us.  They then take us to breakfast and lunch.  It was our honor that they were here.

As I've mentioned in the previous post, we are SO blessed.  And when we think God can't give us anymore, he does.  We are so overwhelmed with gratitude and appreciation.  We can't wait to introduce "Little G" to everyone soon!!

Oh btw, restrictions have been lifted at the hospital.  So, kids can come and visit. We welcome visitors at the hospital and at home.
