Check three "Someday's" off Morganne's list

What an awesome day!
Often, when something excites Morganne she will say something such as "Someday I'll fly in an airplane!" or "Someday I'll drive a tractor!"  Well, today was an absolutely fun filled, enjoyable day and Morganne got to achieve 3 of her "Someday" moments.
My grandfather is a volunteer for the Whitewater Valley Railroad and this year he really wanted us to bring Morganne and Kaelynn out for A Day with Thomas the Tank Engine.  It truly was a great day.  When we arrived we parked at the local high school and decided to take the shuttle to the festivities.  When a school bus picked us up, Morganne excitedly proclaimed "Mommy, is today Someday!?!?!"  I said "Someday, or do you mean Sunday?"  She answered, "Someday!" and Justin, understanding what she was leading to, responded "Yes, Morganne, today is "Someday", you get to ride in a school bus!"  It was a great moment.  Her other "Someday" accomplishments today were to ride in a train, and ride a horse! The weather was perfect, the girls were very well behaved and so excited, and it was great spending time with my parent's and grandfather.  Not to mention we made Grandpa's day by allowing him to show off the girls and his love of trains.

Meeting Sir Topham Hatt....  Morganne cracked us all up when she literally cackled with her understanding a funny moment and said "Ha! Ha! Ha!  He can't talk!"
Meeting the Station Master...  Morganne got to help yell "All Aboard!"  (I did get video too....)

Waving to all the people outside...

 Kaelynn loved it too!

Pony rides!  And yes, she picked this pony because of it's name!  (After we read all the names to her...) "Hey, that's my grandpa's name (giggle)!"

Thrilled about getting to jump in a bounce house.

Our day began with an awesome morning at church where we found out that one of our 16 year old youth group kids committed his life to Christ at church camp last week.  We are so thankful and proud or him (Really doesn't get much better than that.)  Then we had a great day with Thomas, then dinner with Grandpa, and DQ on the way home for dessert.  Really doesn't get much better.  God is so good.

A busy weekend!

Aunt Becky came to visit and got to see Morganne swim lessons.
Watched Nana and Becky run their dogs at the agility trial.

Family get-together and Livie came to play.
A camera oops turned into an interesting picture.  I only wish you could see Morganne's face better...  Not sure what I think about this photo yet, other than the moment was too cute and I cursed my camera afterwards.

 Speghetti for dinner!
Morganne was sick on Monday so we stayed home from lessons, but Tuesday's lessons showed even more acheivements.  Going underwater, so close to getting the top of her head wet!
Totally not paying attention, but oh so cute!

Brittany "helped" Curtis jump off the diving board for the first time.  This moment was hilarious!

Look Mom, no hands!!!  Morganne jumped in ALL BY HERSELF!!!  It was awesome!

So proud!  (Thanks Brit, for the picture!)
A little celebration treat for being so brave!  She took two bites and then ran off to play.  Definitely does not have the Grant sweet tooth.
Her sister, on the other hand, definitely does!!!

The busy month of June begins....

We had an awesome dinner with the Grant's and the Jones' last weekend while Wes and Melanie were in town for a visit. It was so good hanging out with them and watching the kids play.  It's crazy that in 4 years we now have 5 kids between us all!!!  So much fun!

such beautiful brown eyes and curly hair!!!  oh so cute little Brennan!

Morganne's first swimming lessons!!!  Let's just say she was less than thrilled at her first lesson (which I fully expected) but was showing major improvement by the second night!!!  Tonight is night #3 we'll see how it goes!  I think she is beginning to like them and get very excited about it all.
The first night of lessons:  Curtis and Morganne, best buds
 The fan club
 Getting the instructions
Super excited to see the older kids jump off the diving board, to bad the excitement didn't last when it was her turn to get wet
Tough love by Aunt Brittany!  Good job B!
 Really not thrilled

 Curtis loving every minute!
 So pitiful
Jumping, more like being pulled in, at the first lesson.  She talked about "jumping in the rest of the night however!
Off to find out what that smell is!?!?!  (Cows!)
Night #2!!!  Curtis going under water!
Pep talk from Grandad before getting in
 Blowing bubbles!! HUGE success!!!
Getting her ears wet!!!!  HUGE success!  (honestly thought this would take longer to accomplish!)
Curtis showing Morganne how to do it!

 Is that a smile!?!?!?

 Good job CW!!!

Definitely more of a jump today!!!

So brave, he's trying out the water slide!
Definitely a look of sheer panic but in the end I think he liked it!!

Stay tuned for the rest of the week's accomplishments!!!
