Thanksgiving

I know I don't post very often and then I will put out a huge post with tons of pictures.  Well, here we go again :cP  It was a very good weekend with the Grant family for Thanksgiving.  We haven't seen Grandma Peg in two years and it's been way too long.  We love spending time with family.  This year Morganne and her cousin Annabel were finally old enough to really play together and boy did they have fun.  They never stopped and it was so much fun watching them get along so well.  Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Before we left for Kentucky however, we were super excited and blessed to spend an evening with our good friends Wes and Melanie and their new son, Brennan.  We truly enjoyed the evening and miss hanging out with them so much.  Here is a quick shot of the three kiddos before bed.

At Thanksgiving, Grandpa and his grandson.

Great-Grandma Peg "GG" meeting Kaelynn for the first time.  She couldn't get enough of her great-grand kids.

Morganne's first time on a horse!!!!  She loved it!! I was so proud of her!

 Fun with Annabel
and, Google is not allowing me any more space for pictures, so I will work on getting this remedied and I will post more later.
For now, goodnight!

Halloween catch up

I know it's been a while since Halloween.  Here are some photos from our fun evening at my parent's church's candy corn carnival.  Morganne was her shy self most of the evening and played only a few of the many activities.  Overall there were a lot of smiles and laughing though, especially from the grandparents :cP.  For costumes this year we went with what was in the closet.  We had been given a little Chinese outfit from a friend of ours.  Where else would Kaelynn where this?  SO, she was a China doll for Halloween!  It was cute....though maybe not PC. ;cP  Nana found Morganne some cowgirl boots at a garage sale this summer so we built the outfit around those.  Though still a bit big, Nana made her a vest and she went as a country cowgirl.  Surprisingly, she did very well walking and running in those boots all evening.
Making her candy bag, even though she already had one from Grandma Sue that she used.
 Play-doh fun station.
Decorating her very own cookie!!!  She LOVED the sprinkles and added more with each bite.

A scary moment for Kaelynn, though she didn't realize it.  Morganne took to steering the stroller.

The one game Morganne played and loved!  She came back to this over and over.  It was a lot of fun seeing her succeed.  She would get so excited for herself.
And when Daddy got there, we had to do it again!!!

After much convincing, we got Morganne to toss one block here.  It was a minor victory in her shyness.
And then she got CANDY!!!  Much to Daddy's chagrin she picked Dumdum suckers and raisins whenever possible!  Who's child is she?!?!?
Following a line on the floor.  Very simple yet entertaining.....

Oh the memories.....
