Last weekend a ton of our friends helped us move into our new house. There are so many horror stories about moving, but when you have about 30 close friends willing to pitch in, it gets accomplished in record time and with so much less fatigue and stress. We are so blessed by our amazing group of friends. Litterally we were moved in less than 4 hours. Beds were set up, clothes were in dressers, and food in the frige. Another close friend stayed until nearly midnight organizing our kitchen, a task Justin and I were dreading. But, she did it brilliantly and took to it like she enjoyed it. Thanks, Brit ;c). We are still unpacking odds and ends boxes and I'm trying to plan what pictures to put where. It's a lot of fun, but also exhausting. We haven't been to bed before 11:30 all week. Not to mention we've had swimming lessons every evening too. Life's been busy. What I love most about our house so far though, the fact that we've only been here 6 days, and we've already have people over for dinner 4 of those 6 nights. :c) We look forward to having friends over here rather than having to always go elsewhere. We also have awesome neighbors to far. When moving in, two teenage boys next door jumped in an helped, then two other neighbors brought us food. I think we are going to like this neighborhood. The girls adjusted very well. Kaelynn is now in a "big girl" bed and Morganne graduated to a new bed too. If we could only get the cat to adjust as easily......
I also had my root canal this week too. I had so many people telling me in a worrisome tone "oh, good luck with that..." that I was beginning to fret it a little. My experience with my crown (that didn't work) was not exactly a good one, so I was nervous. Well, the root canal was a piece of cake. I'm only half done with it, as I have to go back for the actuall packing, but I've got the worst part behind me and was very pleasantly surprised that it didn't hurt at all, and in fact I didn't need pain meds at all after that day. I am so thankful! So, with my history, I am one that says that root canals and wisdom teeth extractions are way over rated and not a big deal. ;c)
Anyhow, once the boxes are unpacked, I will get some pictures taken and posted of our house. I know some friends and family are anxious to see our new home. We feel so rich! Take care and God bless!
