This past week has been a week of doctor's appointments and they will carry over into next week too. Last Tuesday Justin had a podiatrist appt. and had minor surgery on his toenails, hopefully to bring him relief finally, then Wednesday Kaelynn had a GP appt. for a weight check and to monitor her heart arrythmia, then Thursday I had a urologist appt. with a physician's assistant and ended up having a CT scan done. And, guess what.... kidney stones are back. So, we will be discussing with my urologist in the next few weeks how to pursue. The word lithrotripsy has already been brought up, but I'm not sure what I will want to do exactly. Luckily, the stones aren't quite as big this time, but there are a lot of them again, on both sides, and some are right at the level of being too big to pass. So, we shall see..... Next week, Monday Kaelynn goes back to see her GP for a check up, Morganne has her 2 year wellness exam at the same time, Tuesday Justin has a recheck at the podiatrist, and Wednesday we see the cardiologist for Kaelynn's arrythmia. Prayers on this matter would greatly be appreciated, as I've been told it doesn't look worrisome, but when it's something dealing with your child's heart, it's hard not to be concerned about it. Fortunately, she looks good so far in every other regard and she's gaining weight well, so hopefully it is truly nothing, however I'm a person that wants answers, so hopefully they can give me some.
Anyhow, now for the fun part, some pictures from this week!
Kaelynn at 5 days old
Sisterly love.... The picture on the right would have been great if Kaelynn would have been a bit happier. Morganne was too cute and excited to hold her baby sister for this photo shoot.
Comparison photos of Morganne at 5 days old. My photography skills and handling of my camera have greatly improved since then. You can see similarities but they definitely look different. Morganne was blessed with chubby cheeks from day one! :cP
And some of my favorite photos from the week, our future softball player. We got Morganne her first softball glove for her 2nd birthday and she loves wearing it and is getting the idea of catching the ball in it already. Here Daddy and her are playing outside. Too cute!!!
